Por exemplo, para saber o comprimento de passo, dependemos de quest\u00f5es como o alongamento dos m\u00fasculos.<\/p>\n<p>Quando buscamos saber quantos passos \u00e9 poss\u00edvel dar dentro de um minuto, chamamos isso de cad\u00eancia. J\u00e1 a largura do passo pode ser entendida como a dist\u00e2ncia de uma perna e de outra, no sentido l\u00e1tero lateral, ou seja, o tamanho da base.<\/p>\n<p>Ainda, a velocidade, medida hoje em cent\u00edmetros por segundo (cm\/s), ou metros por segundo (m\/s), \u00e9 o tempo que a pessoa demora para percorrer uma determinada dist\u00e2ncia em um determinado per\u00edodo de tempo. Hoje j\u00e1 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel medir v\u00e1rios desses aspectos de uma forma muito mais simples, com o cron\u00f4metro.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, a variabilidade \u00e9 o desvio padr\u00e3o e a cad\u00eancia. O desvio padr\u00e3o de cada uma dessas vari\u00e1veis, da velocidade, do comprimento, da largura e a cad\u00eancia, depende muito de quest\u00f5es neurol\u00f3gicas. Quando tratamos de quest\u00f5es neurol\u00f3gicas relacionadas ao movimento, estamos falando de coordena\u00e7\u00e3o motora, como o equil\u00edbrio e a capacidade de controlar o novo movimento. Isso pode ser chamado de consist\u00eancia do controle motor, para saber o qu\u00e3o inconsistente ou consistente \u00e9 o movimento.<\/p>\n<p>Guilherme ainda comenta que o desvio padr\u00e3o \u00e9 quando se tem uma velocidade de 1m\/s. Se houver uma velocidade que varia enquanto caminhamos, teremos uma variabilidade de marcha muito grande, por exemplo, num percurso de 10 metros, ser\u00e1 percorrido ora a 1m\/s, ora a 1,2 m\/s, ou 0,8m\/s.
